Why I Serve
"Sitting in that courtroom, I saw firsthand how the system can work against everyday people—and how powerful the law can be when someone stands up and fights back. That's why I'm running: to be a legal shield for Georgia families."
Brian Strickland grew up on a farm in Henry County, where his father still works the same land passed down from his great-grandfather. In high school, Brian watched his dad fight the Henry County Board of Education in a week-long jury trial after the government moved to take 40 acres of their family farm. That experience forged his lifetime commitment to the Republican values of property rights and the rule of law.
Today, that experience drives Brian’s commitment to public service and to the courtroom as the place where ordinary citizens should be able to go toe to toe with powerful interests. He’s the Republican choice for Attorney General to ensure that in every courtroom, Georgia’s values have a defender.
