Brian's Record

Brian is not asking Georgians to judge him only on what he promises. He has a record, and it shows where he stands.

Keeping Georgia Safe

Gangs and Organized Crime

Worked on laws to confront gangs and organized crime, including efforts to keep children from being recruited into them, and supported stronger laws against fentanyl and human trafficking.

Supporting Officers

Helped protect the pay of law enforcement officers injured in the line of duty, so an officer hurt while protecting the public does not face a financial crisis at home.

Protecting the Vulnerable

Foster Care Reform

Wrote Senate Bill 133 to end the housing of foster children in state offices and hotel rooms — it passed the Senate 53 to 1 — and opened the door to college for young people aging out of foster care.

Protecting Seniors

Worked on laws to protect seniors from abuse, improve care in nursing homes, and let families run background checks on the people they hire to work inside their homes.

Fairness and Accountability

A Fair Process

Guaranteed a fair discovery process in misdemeanor cases and fixed the backlog in competency hearings that left people waiting in jail for months.

Nonpartisan Courts

Established nonpartisan elections for probate court judges so those races stay focused on qualifications and the work of the court.

Land, Water, and Farms

Farmland Conservation

Helped create and fund the Georgia Farmland Conservation Fund to protect the working farms that feed the state and carry its heritage forward.

Hazardous Releases

Drafted legislation to address the release of hazardous substances like ethylene oxide, because communities deserve a serious response when dangerous chemicals threaten public health.
